We walk through your space, talk about what is and is not working, and I give you clear direction on what would make the room feel more finished and pulled together.

CAN YOU HELP ME IF I DON’T KNOW MY STYLE?

Yes. Many clients know how they want their home to feel, but not how to get there.

ARE YOU CERTIFIED IN INTERIOR DECORATINg?

Yes. I graduated from an Interior Decorating Program in 2004 and am a Certified Interior Decorator.

WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DECORATING, ROOM PLANNING, AND STYLING?

Decorating focuses on creating a cohesive look for your space through furniture, artwork, lighting, accessories, drapery and color selections.

Room space planning goes deeper by addressing layout, scale, furniture placement and how the room functions for your lifestyle. This is often the foundation of a successful decorating project.

Styling is the finishing layer. It involves arranging artwork, accessories, pillows, books and decor to make a space feel polished, balanced and complete. At Fresh Look Design, I often combine all three to help clients create spaces that are both beautiful and functional.

MY ROOM DOESN’T FEEL FINISHED. CAN YOU HELP?

Absolutely. In fact, that’s one of the most common reasons clients contact me. Many people have furniture and accessories they like, but something still feels off. I help them identify what’s missing and create a plan to make the space feel functional, stylish and complete.

DO YOU OFFER PAINT CONSULTATIONS?

Yes. We carry paint card samples from several professional paint partners and come to your home to help you select the perfect color for your space. Consultations typically take one to two hours, depending on the number of rooms.

DO i have to buy all new furniture to work with you?

No. This popular service is called Room Redesign—a budget-friendly way to refresh your home incorporating your existing furniture, artwork and accessories wherever possible and identifying only what needs to be changed or added.

If you decide you want to add new pieces, I offer in-stock home accessories or can source specific items to suit your space.

DO YOU OFFER STYLING SERVICES?

Yes. Styling can be booked as a standalone service or as part of a decorating project.

I can style using items you already own, new accessories from my store or a combination of both. We also can go shopping for specific items. The goal is to create a finished look that reflects your personality and works with the rest of the space.

WHY SHOULD I HIRE A DECORATOR INSTEAD OF JUST BUYING ACCESSORIES?

Accessories are important, but they are usually the final layer of a room.

If the layout, furniture scale, color palette or overall design direction isn’t working accessories alone won’t solve the problem. A decorator helps ensure all the elements work together so you can invest confidently and avoid costly mistakes.

DO YOU CARRY CUSTOM BLINDS AND SHADES?

Yes. We carry beautiful, quality custom blinds and shades. We offer a complimentary one-hour free in-home consultation to ensure your selections coordinate with your finishes, furniture, and how you use each space. Professional installation is handled with the utmost of care.

Yes. We have been designing beautiful soft window coverings since 2004 that coordinate with your home’s finishes, furniture, accessories and suit your taste.
